Make a difference in our community—one month at a time. Through our Monthly Charitable Giving program, you can support local organizations simply by stopping by your branch to purchase candy, making a monetary donation, or picking up an Attractions Book packed with valuable savings. Every contribution adds up, and each month we spotlight a different nonprofit that serves and strengthens the neighborhoods we call home. It’s an easy way to give back, share kindness, and help create meaningful change right where we live and work—together.

JULY: SUPPORTING ONE OF OUR OWN – Emily Ellison: Liver Transplant Journey
This July, Greenville Heritage Federal Credit Union is proud to dedicate our Charity of the Month to one of our own, Emily Ellison. For the past 17 years, Emily has courageously battled liver disease, and she recently received the life-changing news that she has been approved for a liver transplant. As she prepares for this next chapter, we’re coming together to support her and her family during this journey.
Emily celebrated her 21st anniversary with GHFCU this past May. Throughout her two decades of service, she has worked at our Main, SCTAC, and Simpsonville branches, building lasting relationships with countless members and coworkers who know and love her for her kindness, dedication, and caring spirit.
Throughout the month of July, proceeds from candy sales, Attractions Book sales, and cash donations at all GHFCU branches will go directly toward supporting Emily and helping ease the financial burden of her transplant and recovery. Every purchase and donation, no matter the size, is a meaningful way to show our love and support for a valued member of the GHFCU family. Thank you for helping us make a difference in Emily’s journey.
