Greenville Heritage Federal Credit Union’s Online Bill Pay, CheckFree Next, is the next-generation Bill Pay platform that delivers a simple, intuitive, and engaging Bill Pay experience to members within Home Banking. Enjoy better cash flow control, the ability to accept electronic bills, and your account being charged on the same day the biller receives the funds for your payment! If the person or company you need to pay is not set up to take electronic payments, we’ll send a check.

Save money and time on check orders and stamps! Online Bill Pay benefits and features include:

  • Schedule payments to anyone, anytime.
  • Set up recurring payments.
  • Stop payments at any time.
  • Change dates and/or amounts.

It’s Easy to get Started!

There are only two requirements for using our bill pay service.  You must have a checking account with us and be a Home Banking user.

After you have completed a simple registration, you will be able to pay your bills at your convenience from any computer or from within our mobile app, GHFCU 2 Go!

Here are the highlights of the new and improved member experience offered by CheckFree Next in the September 2025 update:

  •  Users will now find their eBills and Reminders in a prominent “Unpaid Bills” section. Other billers are arranged by user activity in the “My Billers” section.
  • Search will be added to the Bill Pay home page to help users locate a specific biller and navigate through Bill Pay more quickly and conveniently.
  • Bill Pay users’ ability to manage payments and all payment activity, including scheduled and processed payments, will remain unchanged.
  • Recurring payment settings and AutoPay plans will remain unchanged.
  • Users will also have continued access to, and will be able to organize in groups, any billers they had already added in CheckFree RXP.
  • Aesthetic and functionality enhancements have been added for improved accessibility and conformance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
  • “View and Manage Profile” and “View and Manage Accounts” options are not available in the CheckFree Next platform.
  • After the upgrade, users will have the ability to switch between CheckFree Next and CheckFree RXP UI for 30 days. However, “View and Manage Profile” and “View and Manage Accounts” will not be accessible in CheckFree RXP post-upgrade.
